Working with large and small companies, our objective is to improve your sales closure rates. Working with you, we mentor your sales and support team members towards this goal. We project manage different projects, delivering on time and to budget. We have worked with IT suppliers to the NHS for many years and implemented many systems in NHS hospitals and on behalf of the DoH.
Contracted by Insignia Medical, I took the role of programme and project manager for the replacement of the imaging software and services for the main 5 hospitals in the South west of England. The new systems replaced existing software and upgraded the service capability of the imaging and PACS departments within each hospital unit.
Working with the executive team, I provide additional input on business development and the Health marketplace
If your new business or account management selling is more focused, upbeat and delivers the client requirement, you will close sales quicker and at higher value. Intelligent Selling will support you and your team to deliver better closure rates.
Worked as NED Chair for a couple of years as project
Intellect Uk was and remains the leading business lobby group for all High-Tech companies. While a member I represented the Healthcare industry group in a variety of discussion and lobby groups with Government bodies to try to improve the credibility of IT suppliers and to speed up the tortuous procurement process. I was lucky to be the Chair of the Health Group for two seperate sessions for a total of 6 years on behalf of my own employers and other suppliers. I was also proposed and accepted as a director of Intellect UK for a three year position. As a very small SME, I found myself presenting key views on behalf of the SME community in amongst industry heavyweights like IBM, Fujitsu, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle and many other leading and large companies. While broadly similar, the key differences for a large to a small company are very, very different. Few on eh Board of Intellect recognised this and I found that my opinions carried much more weight than company size would normally deliver. Taking these messages to senior levels in Government was also rather fun!!
Working for the Director General of NHS IT, I provided information and knowledge on the capabilities of the wide range of IT and service suppliers to the NHS prior to the LSPcontracts being awarded by NPfIT/CFH. I represented the NPfIT to the supplier community and maintained an extensive database of partnerships and areas of joint working.

Responsible for profitability and growth of Oracle's technology and services business from the NHS and private health market. Worked by selling and developing application for direct sale to the market and through channels and partners to support other companies in their business with the market.
I worked for Comshare from leaving college for many years covering a very wid range of roles from programming (in Fortran, Algol and Cobol) through to selling, software assurance, project management and leading major rpojects in Japan and Scandinavia. Like many who worked for Comshare, it was an excellent grounding for working in the IT industry and many people have come from this company
